Session Description
We’ll guide participants through the world of Access and Accommodation: pre-application, applying for services, goals of the intake meeting, forming a plan, communicating with instructors, and handling hiccups along the way. Participants will practice reading accommodation letters and holding engaging conversations with students about their disability and implementing accommodations. We’ll also explore creativity and collaboration when supporting learners with disabilities. This will be an interactive session.
